Will manages public market and hedge fund investments for HFS Wealth Management clients. He works with the Firm’s high net worth, family, and foundation clients to design investment portfolios that are tailored to their unique investment and risk objectives. In support of this, Will spends the majority of his time on investment research, asset allocation, investment selection, and portfolio management activities. Will is based in the Firm’s Austin office.

Will draws on over a decade of institutional investment and advisory experience advising the Firm’s clients. Over his career, he has advised institutions on hedge fund investments as well as managed globally diversified portfolios for high net worth individuals and family office groups.
Will is active in his community. He is President of the UT Phi Endowment Fund which provides housing and scholarships to the Phi Delta Theta chapter at the University of Texas. He is also a member of the 501 Council of Greenlights for Nonprofit Success whose mission is to strengthen nonprofits for extraordinary performance by providing consulting, facilitation and training services. Additionally, he and his wife are involved with Partnerships for Children which provides critical resources to abused and neglected children in Central Texas who are in the care of Child Protective Services.
Outside of the office, Will spends most of his free time with his wife and their two children. The Grays enjoy spending time on the lake, riding bikes around Austin, or planning their next travel adventure. Will is an avid outdoorsman and also enjoys skiing (water and snow), running, golf, and reading.
